    Everytime I add someone a few seconds later it blocks them, I can unblock them but I'm not sure if they are getting my invite and why this is happening.

    nothing better to do than spam linkbucks on every thread? Do you actually think someone is going to download that?

    Reinstall MSN if you haven't tried it. This is an issue that was intermittent with me until I switched to Trillian.

    Same thing keeps happening to me also. Reinstalling, does that wipeout our contact list?

    No it doesn't. Your contacts are stored to your actual MSN, not the MSN program.

    Proposed solutions have been to delete your buddy list file and change your MSN account password.

    Just because you reinstall doesn't mean you fix the problem, the problem is within the client.

    The solution. ^

    As the problem will still occur, while it is automatically blocking people, keep them blocked;

    While they're blocked change your password (don't unblock then change).

    Once you change your password go to; Options > privacy > allow all the names and un-check (alert me when other people add me to their list).

    Still doesn't seem to work, I read that this is a bug on msn that other users are having and they are trying to fix it.

    The only cause for your msn to not fix with the solution above is your OS being older then your updated version of MSNM.
