Common recurring connection loss

So recently, my HP has been running RS kind of strangely. Every few minutes, the game will freeze, then say "Connection lost, attempting to reestablish" Then "re-log" me, erasing all chat window comments and resetting compass to N, like it does when you log in.

Any help?

 

that exact same thing happened to me when i had my old hp. tbh, i could never figure out what it was. i had formatted it and replaced/upgraded the ram and video card but that or nothing else really worked. I ended up getting a new computer. There were a few things that temporarily would help a little bit. I know what you mean though its annoying as hell and makes it impossible to pk

 

Try reinstalling Java?

 

there have been a lot of worlds with shitty connection lately so maybe its the world. if it isnt the world it could be that you have shitty ram but i'm not really a computer expert so i'm not sure about that stuff.
