Or run a dung bot on a level 3 and make it level combat stats while getting dung

 

most dung bots dont let you leech like this, unless there is another account doing the work

 

you can run it but it won't stay level 3 and you need to hit level 40 combat at some point before floor 17 or it keeps prestiging at floor 17 until you get over 40 cb.

I wouldn't recommend ranging its extremely slow unless your in p2p, in my opinion a maul works very well in f2p and for settings just put pray doors, summoning, style swap off, and pure mode on, bury bones off, etc. also leave dead ends and skip rooms off I find the bot gets bugged a lot with either of these options on, also leave explorer on.

 

Have summoning and pray doors off while on pure mode.
