    8th Grade Geometry HELP

    [IMG]

    Match each angle with its measurement.
    Answer Potential Matches:
    2 : mÐ1 1 : 60°
    _ : mÐ2 2 : 70°
    _ : mÐ3 3 : 140°
    _ : mÐ4 4 : 40°
    _ : mÐ5 5 : 50°
    _ : mÐ6 6 : 130°
    _ : mÐ7 7 : 110°
    1 : mÐ8 8 : 30°

    If anyone could solve this for me, It would help me greatly. I'm very nooby at geometry, I've only figured out the first and last one.

    8th Grade Geometry HELP

    1 = 30 (90 - 60)
    2 = 60 (complementary with 60)
    3 = 50 (180 - 130)
    4 = 70 (180 - (180 - (#2 + #3)))
    5 = 110 (supplementary to #4)
    6 = ? (see below)
    7 = 180 - #6 (supplementary to #6)
    8 = 130 (congruent to 130)

    You can figure out #6 as follows, but it takes a little longer:
    8 = 130, therefore it is supplementary with the angle under it, and that one is 50.
    50 + 90 + #7 = 180; #7 = 40
    Hence, #6 = 140.

    8th Grade Geometry HELP

    Just make sure you know the concepts, or else you'll lose out later when you gotta apply this stuff in Algebra / Calculus.

    I took SAT earlier and this stuff came out, almost got owned cuz I forgot one of the parallel lines postulates.
