Weird issue with rsbot 1.24

I quit by closing the window, then tried logging back on the account a few hours later and it said I was logged it.

I got annoyed and put in a recovery request while I started hunting through my computer for keyloggers, then when I went through my running processes I saw several instances of java were still running. I quit them then was immediately able to log in again.

Apparently it was still running in the background through java even though I had quit.

Has this happened to anyone else?

 

i wonder if this means that your account was still botting? seeing as it is logged in.

I'm actually not sure- I didn't really check how much pure ess I had banked before I logged out.

 

I am using RSbot 1.24 and if I close the window it asks something like "Are you sure you want to quit?" and if I click yes, it closes and logs me out. Never had a problem with it running in the background after I close it.

 

I've never has this issue with Rsbots

However.. I have come back to my computer to see the "member credit" tab on the lobby screen has been clicked with my account info pulled up on the internet.

I've witnessed my wife's bot do it every now and then on mis-clicks..

 

Not sure, but i had several problams with servers, when world goes offline, i can't log in for few hours, says your acc is still online :X Not sure if its a case yet. ( this happend to me 3 times already )

 

That'd be a weird coincidence if it happened to get fixed as soon as i stopped java.

 

Use the process manager. Forget the name im on my phone. But yeah end all processes that are called javaw.exe and it should work.

A friend of mine told me this happened to him. I'll talk to him and see how he fixed it/what he thinks caused it.

 

I'm assuming you had semi-closed it. And your account was probably just sitting their in the lobby. This has never happened to me before so I don't know entirely what to say.
