    My time here on Sythe:
    I became a User Educator on August 7th, 2008 (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=437420), a Head User Educator on Feburary 21st, 2009 (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=574426), and a Global Moderator on July 27th, 2009 (http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=661711)

    I'm:
    • 18 years old
    • a college freshman
    • a musician
    • a 3 year veteran Drum Major for my HS band
    • a politicial science major
    • a starbucks addict
    • slightly shorter than the average height
    • in love with the color green
    • fairly outgoing

Some of the instruments that I play:
    • Most saxophones (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bari)
    • Piano
    • Trumpet
    • Mellophone
    • Baritone/Euphonium
    • Guitar (I probably shouldn't even count this because I'm so bad at it)

Thankfully, we didn't always have checklists lol. But yes, it would have been about 23 of them if it was the same this whole time ;)

And I'm not entirely sure. I think it's the fact that I truly enjoy working with the people on the UE team, more than most other people online. You all are intelligent, great people, and make it worth while to spend time with the UE.

I rarely compose. I mainly play music. I have composed to some extent, mainly because I had to for AP Music Theory (which I did get a 5 on ;)) One of my friends however, is a music major, and does nothing but sit around and compose. He is quite the talent for sure.

During my short month as a UE, I saw what you really did for us all. You're one of the greatest HUE's ever.

What do you think is a harder job- being a head u.e. or global mod?

To be quite honest, they're both hard.

Head User Educator is difficult because you have a team to manage (thank goodness they're all great people and I have a great co-HUE, Dalpra, to ease the workload). Almost all of the HUE work would be behind the scenes, cleaning up posts, facilitating changes on the team and how the section is run, resolving issues, etc.

Global Moderators on the other hand, have a much farther spread out work load, being that we moderate all forums. As well, it has a great responsibility attached to it, in that all promotions are disputed among us, all high profile investigations, and not to mention, having to deal with ban disputes among other, sometimes difficult decisions.

So I'd say they're both difficult, but they're both very rewarding as well. ;)

(In all fairness to your question though, if I have to pick ONE, it would be Global Moderator to be more difficult ;))

Thanks! :) In general, I listen to a lot of music. My favorite band would probably be Nightwish, because I love symphonic music, and certain types of metal, which is encompassed both by them.

When I move in, I'll let ya know. Got a couple weeks until then ;)
