ITT: Bands that were good but now suck.

Weezer, Blue album and Pinkerton were orgasmic. Everything after makes me cry.
Greenday, Dookie was awesome. Then they got boring.
Muse, they don't quite suck now, but they don't get anywhere near to their former glory in Absolution and Origin of Symmetry.

 

Uhm, I guess you could make an argument for Rise Against. I like their newest CD but its not as punkish (or as good in my opinion) as their others (see Revolutions Per Minute). Other bands, I would say Iron Maiden for sure.

 

i wouldn't really say rise against was ever punk.. real punk anyway. they're not a bad band though. on topic i'd say antiflag

 

Atreyu used to be pretty badass, now they fucking suck. Same with Lostprohets, lol. Now I can't even say their name without cringing.

 

Metallica
Especially lars ulrich and james hetfield.
Don't get me wrong they are both great musicians but the drumming and vocals suck.

 

Agree with Greenday and Metallica 100%.

 

Definitely Green Day, Dookie was nothing but amazing. I have to say there was a few good songs on American Idiot but that's where it stopped for me.

I've also got a feeling that Bring Me The Horizon's new album won't be very good, they've got Josh Franchesci from YM@6 doing vocals on one of their tracks and it doesn't really fit with their genre. I'm still going to buy it though, I love BMTH.

 

Underoath and Bring Me the Horizon. They're sellouts that went emo.

 

U2, Nirvana, The Beatles. You can't even begin to argue these.
