Well, I just got a new computer <3 and so I obviously had to re-install everything. WoW is patching, and I decided to go grab a bot for runescape to occupy me for a few hours.

Anyway, I went over to "rsbot.org" and all that it said on the site was

They wont go after powerbot.org. The only reason they went after RSbot.org is because Jagex claimed that they had "RS" copyrighted, so they had to change their name. hence powerbot.org

 

JaGeX took actions on them obviously. www.powerbot.org is their new site, im guessing JaGeX are going to take the rest down soon.

 

I honestly hope the sue the living shit out of all the script resellers. At least PowerBot isn't doing it for cash like most of the other botting sites. Sure there's donations and premium shit but it isn't required to get.

Don't say the reseller sites make you pay because the quality is better. I am willing to be I have better antiban and scripts as well.

but i use quirlion imo its a wayy better bot but not soo many scripts and low amount of ppl on forums.

 

They're going after the actual sites to crackdown on botting becasue they have no way of detecting bots ingame. xD

Oh that makes sense. Gives them a reason to go after it.

Just too bad (for Jagex; not for me) it's really easy to circumnavigate that reason.

New sites will be up anyway so doesn't matter really.

 

Jagex aren't going to do anything to fully shut down the site's they will just reopen under a different name, the only reason they went after rsbot.org is because they claimed they should own it because they own the copyright to "RS" which is part of the domain name.
