Non Virtual Item Lotteries

I've seen a few "xbox lottery" threads popping up in the Non Virtual Item Sales section.
Was just curious as to the staffs opinion on these sales as I didn't find anything prohibiting
them within the Non Virtual Item Sales Section stickies.

I think it's a general assumption that these lotteries are highly exploitable.

Don't know if this is the right section, not really suggesting anything and this isn't quite feedback. Feel free to move/lock this as necessary.

 

I wouldn't trust a lottery hosted by a non-staff/non-respected member, they are likely to take all the money that people used to buy tickets and leave without ever giving away the prize.

 

or when a plant in the lottery mysteriously wins the lottery.

 

Thats why you get a Mod to draw it or give the mod the winning number before slots are filled.
