Making a pure.

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've played Runescape on a pure but I'm considering starting again to make an old school ranger/mager account. I'm not sure how I would go about training one of these and the stats I should get which is why I've come here to ask for your help

I'm thinking along the lines of having stats such as
80+ Range
82/94 Magic - for blitz/barrage
11 Prayer - For DT
1 Defense
?? Combat level

I'm unsure about it all and wondering you could all answer some questions...
How should I make money to supply the account?
Where abouts should I train? for the most part.
How long would it take (Approx)?
Would it be worth it?
Are they still good in the new PvP shit?

And any other tips/advice you can offer me.

How should I make money to supply the account? There are tons of ways.. Mining, fishing, autofighting, ect that would supply you with what you need.. All the gathering professions work (except maybe woodcutting) for huge $p/h.


Where abouts should I train? for the most part. Soulwars and Chaos Druids (Edgeville)


How long would it take (Approx)? If you're playing legit it could take a good while.. Botting it would take a couple weeks for desired stats.

Would it be worth it? Yessss. These accounts are amazing in PvP/BH.

Are they still good in the new PvP shit? ^^ Yes

 

i have a pure like this its 86 range,26 pray and has blitz its 60cb as its low hp and wrecks people in bh and pvp took about 3 weeks and ive used 100 zeal and canoned drags and pked for most of my range lvls and made my money off pking and cannononing drags im 40 str and att so i use morrigans,kbow and dbow :laugh:

Also, does anyone have any links to any good pkers/pvp'ers that blitz and use range, no rushing or melee bs?

 

get: 99 range 94 mage under 80 combat and get the DT reqs also then you could be pro

 

Thanks for the suggestion, that would be a very, very long term goal but would definately consider it.

 

Well a good place to train would be rockcrabs, thats one of the best places to train for pures, Also making money i would suggest buying a mining bot, its good money and lastly it would take awhile playing legit but botting it would take a few weeks.

 

Training at rock crabs for mage? Right...Don't you alch or super heat these days? :laugh:

But I'm considering buy a mining bot and an auto fighter, does anyone have a link to a website that I could buy one off?

As far as money goes i've always done hunter w. catching chins for cash

Training is never just one spot for the most part i'd find a guide it switches between range and mage every 10-20 levels you get i could tell you pretty detailed about wehre to train if you want.

Time, its going to take awhile, if you focus on these goals i'd say no more than 3 months but patience is what kills every1 unless you bot

a ranger mager pure is very effective and very fun atm so doo it!

some tips and advice is buy the soulwars bot and use it i've gotten 99 mage str and hp with it on my maxed out pure!! also my last tip dont get def even if its super tempting and pk often to keep yourself playing. if all you do is train thats not really fun...?

 

train hunter, its the easiest 99 and its amazing money at 91+ hunter
