why doesnt runescape just rwt? LOL

if runescape sold gold, items and services through their official website instantly, they would make LOADS of money. i understand the whole aspect of working for and earning what u have, but if people are much more willing to pay than do the work themselves i don't know why they wont capitalize on this?

what are your guys thoughts on this? what kind of effects on the econemy would this have? post your ideas!

 

They don't want people to RWT because they want people to earn their money legit.

Although I do agree, if they brought back the Wildy, and removed the trade limit there would be so many more members, but JaGex is stupid, and I don't think they realized how many members they lost by adding a trade limit.

I highly doubt they will ever erase the trade limit though, so there is nothing we can do.

Tbh, all they want is the fucking money, thats why they're not being 'clever' and banning the botters, they're not even trying! Because if they did, 60% of Rs would be wiped out, and they would be poor ass bitches living with they're parents again. Why dont they just do this? Sell GP, leveling etc, or atleast get rid of the trade limit. They make out that they want it to be a safe enviroment, and challenging etc, but all they really want is the cash, and if they did simple things like this, the company would be 10x as rich.

Why doesn't Jagex just make it so that you have to sign a waiver in order to pk/stake. The waiver would state that Jagex is not responsible for any funds in real life or in game lost in the purchasing of RSGP/accounts.

 

Just because people with money in real life would be the powerful ones in-game because Mommy and Daddy bought everything they have. It'd ruin the game more so than it is now, and the only reason you would actually want this to happen is because you suck at the game now, and virtually have no bank to do anything.

Keep complaining and asking what ifs. I'll go enjoy having money and being able to do stuff on the game that's fun like pking and gw's.

i thought the origional problem with rwt was that jagex wasnt making money and was pissed that others were making real money off their game money. if they just decided to take rwt to the official status, i think it would be a huge step foward.

but i also wonder what would happen to the economy if you have poeple buying hundreds of million of gp and rare items.

 

I completely agree with this. And no, i dont suck at the game atall, infact i have 2 amazing accounts, one being an almost maxed out zerker with 50M+.

I love the game as it is, but it was so much better back in the day, when you could RWT. As much as i'd want all the updates to fuck right off, i can see why you, and why alot of other people think different.

 

jagex wants to still think its a legit company when they know all too well that people are losing money and trading and selling accounts and things. but they dont care it just gets people to play runescape.

 

Too many lawsuits from kids who stole their parents credit cards to buy RSGP and ended up losing the money.

 

you cant form a lawsuit when your under 18 and dont have money to pay for en expensive lawyer. plus its not runescapes fault if u loose anything, that should be part of the agreement u must accept before you create a character. its the parents job to safegaurd their credit cards from children, not runescapes, and they shouldnt be penalized for this in any way.

the problem lies not with runescape but with idiots who cant admit when their at fault.

 

i see where your coming from. but, i good guy that earned 100m by working in real rs, and a rich fat kid that has $100 a month to spend on runescape cash. everyone would be raised to a high level, and no one would be destinguished. plus the prices would probabllly raise with the amount of people suddenly buying a ton of these rare items.

 

if they would to sell their gold,pig would be able to climb trees ^^----i think maybe,just maybe usfine or gold4rs is under them(jagex).

You don't realise how much inflation would take a part , It would Destroy runescape Economy and gain unfair advantage to people that are rich

E.G. Ages would go to say , 300-500m Rares , over 5Bil...Etc..
When the less fortunate RS players can't buy there gold ,
It would destroy the game for them
