Herblore Help

Hey all, I currently have an ags (85-90M) that I'm willing to sell to get 99 herblore.


I've heard many different price ranges, and I'm wondering if 90m will be enough to get 99 herb using either of these guides:

It costs way more than 90mil to get 99 dude. That won't even get you halfway.

Use these prices here, on average you lose 20-30gp per XP. Any potions where you might lose less is because either noone buys them or an untradable item is involved.

It costs 300m+, but when you sell what you make, you get like 60% of it back....lol


So i can buy 100m worth of supplies, sell the pots, buy more, rinse and recycle...

 

my herblore took me 154m from 1-99 and that is with selling the pots back and everything. so no 90m is not enough.

 

Yeah I had 50M and thought that i can do it ,but i failed and got only 86 herb . Yea herb cost much more than constr.

 

Those calculators are calculating the GP you LOSE to get the gp/xp. You lose 350M. It doesn't take 350M to buy supplies for 99.. more like 1.5B to buy every supply outright.

 

It cost me around 50m to 86 herb and my starting level was 75.

You can clean herbs all the way up to 99. It's profitable but it'll take you about 200 hours

 

Go for a better skill cape

e.g.
- Mage Thats around 25M
- Prayer Is a fair bit depending on current level worth getting though.

I don't think you've looked at those calculators mate. They include the CASH COMING BACK FROM SELLING.


So you LOSE A TOTAL OF 300mil+.

On a good day, if you have the money for all the materials, it costs 300M lost. I got 99 a while back (thread here) and I lost 450M or more, because of price changes and such. Don't get herblore unless your bank is over 1.5B

 

Ive spent over 130m and I still have yet to get 99

 

If you want to effectively train herblore, you'd best be ready to drop at least 350M. Standard herblore rates are 25-30 gp/xp, depending on whether you buy (unf) potions, grimy , or clean herbs.

But yeah. An ags may get you 85 herblore tops.

 

I highly recommend investing in farming, and growing your own herbs.

That is how my friend got 99 herblore by only using 90m.

 

wow. im not planning on getting 99 herby, but just out of curiosity, how much would it be to collect all the herbs yourself. and what pot should you make?
