How to tell if a paypal payment is a gift?

The title states. Please post a screenie with a description of how to tell on the screen where you view all of your transactions. If you don't follow these instructions, it's spamming.

If their address shows, it's not a gift

 

so...if it says "print shipping label" it's not a gift?
@brawl - no. it's not. it's called a 48hr bump.

 

Click on transaction details, if their address comes up under shipping details its not a gift, it'll be goods. If their address is not there, then it should be a gift

 

okay, thanks. someone who sent me a $30 payment sent it not as gift then.

 

I also think if there are fees it is not a gift.

 

Isnt it if you send money as a gift you can't get your money back or something?

You can still get your money back even if you sent it as a gift...there are many methods...

i will not explain them here though...probably recieve a ban lol

 

this is correct. i know how, and have had it done, but it's A LOT easier to recover a plain old transaction.
