Abyss

Starting to get back into GFX design, so I decided to start off by trying to use C4D with a simple stock. I love how it turned out, and it's been a while since I've made something so I'm surprised I still have the memory/ability that I once did.

Any criticism is welcome, like I said it's my first piece in a while aside from the SOTW entry.

EDIT: Added a second with just a single sharpen, tell me what you like better.

 

I like it, its simplistic. I think I have that stock on my computer, you didnt do much, but it looks good.

 

The only stock was the jellyfish. The rest of it is C4D and just a solid background.

yeah I have that stock, more done than I first thought.

 

You should have burned the edges around the jellyfish. If I'm correct, they're meant to be the focal right?

More so the top right, the name and the idea was that they're coming up from the abyss of the sea so the light is where your eye should wander. I feel as though the jellies pull your eye toward it though, but the main focus is not them.

 

Looks nice, I don't know if you should have named it "abyss" though (extremely unimportant observation, ignore this if you honestly don't care), I see abyss as dark, so I was expecting a darker sig.

Anyway, what verts says; you should find a way to make the focal pop more.

Also; the sharpened one looks better, but it really isn't very noticeable
