    My in depth flipping/money/quitting guide(nopix)

700k-1.5million per hour if wondering for some of the methods. One is F2p, and few methods seem to NEVER have been posted.

So I am about to quit since university is coming up soon and thus I have decided to share information that had helped me in Runescape to make gp. If any of these methods are actual guides in the paid guides section, I didn't rip them off and I checked none of my "methods" seem to do this unless the paid guides people are really exaggerating amounts. Beware of the wall of text, and this is mainly a ramble of ideas going from flipping down to-> 5 good ways to make some cash money.

So to begin with is to first start gathering money. There are various ways to begin gathering money-swamp toads, potato cacti, zamorak wines, hunter,mm fungi etc. There are enough gathering guides on free websites out that I would only be rewriting that it doesn't really matter what I put down. Just grind/bot at these methods until around twenty million (always my downfall).

Next I go onto the actual decent money making parts and there are four methods included that can be done in a combination of ways.

The first of course is the way many in runescape make their money-> flipping. I would only start this with around ten million and you can flip conceivably on a busy schedule 2-3 times a day. Most any items that sell/buy in high amounts on grand exchange that are not at their peak can be flipped. However I like to focus on items that I generally buy max and sell minimum during pking which include, food, arrows and bolts, and potions. I flip these items because I have found they buy and sell better and fluctuate much more than traditional items. Now the concept behind flipping is buying low and selling high but the real questions are what is the percent under/over one to sell for and what exact items.

(Prices) Pking items generally sell by time~3:00pm east has highest amount of players pking and thus prices are higher in ge while 3:00am west has around the lowest amount of people pking and prices are generally lower. Thus it seems a bit tricky to figure out prices but since the gear I flip generally is between 100-10k gold pieces, you can test prices that the items are selling for.

(Testing) To do this one must buy 1 item at maximum price and see what it sells for. If it sells for close to the minimum price(1), the item won't be good for flipping but could be a candidate for short term investing(2). If the item just doesn't sell at maximum or sells close to maximum, then again it also isn't a good item to flip. However if it is lower than mid price by 3%(3) then it is a good item to flip.

(Buying) So now you have figured out a few items to flip and now gets to the simple part of flipping. Take the price the item is being sold at and subtract 1% off(4) and put an offer in for the item with 25% of your gp or the Ge 4 hour ceiling minus 1(5). Repeat the process for another 3 items or however much of your gp you wish to use. However I would not advise using more than 25% of your gp per item as if the item rarely crashes or becomes unsellable, less of your gp is held up.

(Selling) Finally after all your items have been placed into your grand exchange, it is time to sell. There are two ways to go about this: blind selling for a set percentage of profit; and structured selling. I prefer blind selling on weekdays and structured selling on weekends but it is your choice.

(Blind) Blind selling is taking the price you bought at adding a set percentage off the trade price and selling your item. General rule of thumb is higher the percentage, longer it takes to flip the item. However blind selling works well on weekdays for people working/in school as if one puts offers to buy in the night and puts offers to sell in the morning(est) then they can maximize profit being on two times a day.

(Structured) This is similar to testing done earlier as you test the price that offers for your item are at. You do this by selling one of your items at minimum and finding the price people are putting offers for your item at. Then sell your item at the offered price +2% unless your item is selling max and your item should sell rather quickly. If your item sells max then wait one ge update and if your item rises, retest and try again. However after 2 or so updates I would advise selling if the item is getting merched.

(Busy Flipping) Lets say one can only access the computer in betwixt waking up and sleeping as they are out and about through out the day. Figure out how you center around the time zones and try and buy around 3 am est and try and sell around 3 pm est. To do this just add/subtract one percent off of buying price before 3 am and add 1% to selling price before 3 pm and you will maximize profit for your one flip/day.

(Quick List) These items I have merched before and are not cheap bulk pking items and I see as "good and stable" . Before you merch these check g.e. history and ask around a bit to get a feel where they are buying/selling. If they change more than 1.5% price/day, I wouldn't advise attempting to flip. Basically if these items fell a bit buy at 3 percent under and sell 2 percent over and if they rose a bit buy 2 percent under 3 percent over. If no change buy/sell at 2.5% each way.
    -Barrows helms, bodies, legs.
    -Dragon boots
    -Whips
    -Saradomin swords.
    -Rune (t) helms
    -Claws
    -Infinity boots
    -Zamorak pages
    -Rune 2h swords
    -Dragon 2h swords

(1)price of max price minus minimum price and compare to the gold you get from buying max in turn with the item.
    (2) If so inclined to attempt short term investing, check the ge database and if the item's 180 day log doesn't have it dropping beneath the current minimum price, chances are there will be a quick reversal netting 10-15%
(3)Maximum minus gold received with item= P for price. P/trade price*100= percent difference from trade price. If the number is between 97 and 100 it is within range.
    (4) trade price/100

Now that the main part of the guide(flipping) is over with now is on to money making methods. These will not be that in depth but will provide methods that can make good money. While doing all of these remember to farm and have an active kingdom in Misc. You can bring in ~ 1.2m/wk with kingdom using all on herbs, and can make 90k(3 patches) to 160k(5 patches) from 5 minute farm runs.

Mixing clean herbs and water to make unfinished potions is the first method and I got around 800k-1.2m doing this. This was only effective from 38 herblore and the concept is simple -> take clean herbs, mix them with vials of water, and voila 300-500 profit per unfinished potion. I got around 2.2k/hour done and I am sure this could be done faster and botted.

The second method which takes a bit of sniping from the grand exchange is Grenwall spikes. These spikes are used in extreme ranging potions and you can collect around 1k-1.2k per hour(using pre hunted pawya meat). These require 77 hunter(68+ summon is ftw) and access to Ifisdar hunting area but are 1.4k each. Thus these are around 1.5m/hour but the meat is sometimes hard to get off of ge and the prices for spikes look like this ~~~~~~~. This has amazing experience rates too>catching chins.

The third method is running muddy keys to the muddy chest in the amazing lava maze. I did this on my friends account and used his tortoise and got around 210 keys/hour and since there is 6k(dropped the mith daggers and pizzas) or so profit per chest we got about 1.25m/hour. Depending on familiar this method I would say is little under 700k(under 40 summon without teleports and energy pots)-1.4m(yak) per hour. This can also be done in F2p and is the best steady money maker. I will classify sinister keys under this category also since they are also running keys and you can profit around 3.5k/run of sinister keys but sinister keys are closer in yanille agility dungeon(57 agility).

The fourth is probably decently well known but I will expand upon it. It is gaining EP by wielding a javelin/dart/knife with a low alch valued, high trade valued item(under 30 gp and over 76k) in a bounty world +1. Keeping auto retaliate on one can gain basically unrisked ep except for farcasting. However there finding places in 1v1 to be able to do this without paying attention can be difficult. The best place to gain ep would be the pirate ship as it is 1v1 and impossible to be far casted at or the ep spot west of edgeville in level 2 where one can't be farcased due to the height of the hill. Once you have your e.p. 76k/pk away or gain yourself death heat through dying with fixed crystal bows(need roving elves done).

Fifthly is for those who have a large pile of cash, that they aren't flipping/merching with and just buy ge minimum capped item that gets use. I used Dragon Plateskirts and Dragon med helms and I held them until they got merched and then I dumped netting 50% profit or so doing basically nothing.

Well that is all of the money making that I know that I feel isn't general knowledge or could be beneficial to all those noobs out there who are just starting up runescape. I hope this helped many people and i guess this is my last tribute to this game I have been addicted to(sadly) for years.

    Cheers 13 7x 13
