@Sythe.Org emails?

Why haven't they been offered to purchase?


I assume because..

1) Same reason they don't allow paypal donations.

2) If a stafff member couldn't afford it, scammers could imposter them with a fake @Sythe.org email (even though people who fall for this kind of stuff are retarded)


So my suggestion?

Sell @Sythe.Org Emails.


How this could be done with out paypal?

Same way you do it now, donate through the mail for a @Sythe.org email (that will be compatible with msn)


I'd also suggest, staff automatically get one free, whether or not they choose to use it, this way it can't be made or impostored, so pre-make.

Benefits of a custom email?

1. Harder to imposter, and get it Verified at that.

2. Helps get more $ towards Sythe.

 

It could make Sythe more money but I do not think we will get Sythe.org emails anytime soon.

People can already make fake @Sythe.org emails.


If Sythe or a diff admin make all staff and new staff @Sythe.org emails and obviously you can't pay to have a [email protected] email if your not SuF, and regular impostering with fake email.

It would cut back on impostering imo, and only retards get scammed by imposters :\

 

OMM would have to have freebies aswell.

 

Not even freebies as much as MAKE the email before they even buy it, and if they choose to buy it, its ready to go. Yeah I'd support them getting free ones though.

Also members can only buy @Sythe.org emails that correspond with their sythe acc so I could only have

[email protected] and no other.

 

I also believe this is a way to verify MSNs with out having the email, which is why I mention the premaking of them and free ones for mods\admins

Make it so the users Sythe email has to be the same as their username.. Problem solved?

 

theres still more problems burdock` but no ones that arn't just as problematic as @Hotmail and @Live

 

or just force everyone to get their email the same as sythe usernames, it would definately fix the imposter problem

 

you can make fake @sythe.org emails and it will be unverified. Though I hear of people making @ emails that are custom and having them verified.

's a great idea and all, but there are too many problems with imposters, etc. If we could get past that, it's a definite support from me.

 

Just buy a @sythesafe domain from Skele. It's pretty much the same thing and it does allow less imposters.

 

I would definately purchase one if this works out, and wouldn't you be able to tell the scammers, as their emails would be:

'NAME' (email address not verified)

right?
