Nut Allergy: Do you have one and if so, how does it affect you?

Today I went to the hospital to have a Nut Allergy test, and my test results showed that I am severely allergic to Cashew nuts. I was just wondering if anyone else on the forum has a nut allergy, and if they do, in what way it affects them? Thank you

 

I don't have allergies to any specific foods but I have minor allergies to stuff in the air like pollen. It's annoying because my nose is stuffed all the time but it doesn't effect me that much.

 

I'm deathly allergic to almonds, although those technically are not a nut.

I don't find it to bad, whenever someone starts to eat almonds I usually quickly move away or I politely tell them that I am allergic and if they could eat them somewhere else.

 

I'm sort of allergic to Shrimp in a way. When I bite my lips, and my lips start cracking open, when I eat Shrimp, my lips hurt and bulges up. But it's normal if my lips are fine.

My brother has a peanut allergy, It's quite annoying as all the food in the house is nut free and most is terrible quality compared to normal foods that may contain traces. If only Mars bars would make it seperate from nut products. NOMNOM
