New Posts 'Filter'

I think there should be a way of blocking certain forums posts from the new posts section.

At the top of the page, you will see there is a button that says New Posts. This will show you all the latest posts from around the forum.

However, there are some forums that do not interest me, such as the report a scammer forum, the dispute forum, the vouches forum and a few others.

Therefore, I propose that a filter is added to this section of the site, where you can remove certain sections new posts visibility.

You mean like a "Filter"? I see little point in it, but I guess I could get on board with it.
There aren't that many of those threads though. I suggest just ignoring them.

 

To be honest, I didn't think people used that. But I think it would be too much hassle for what it's worth.

 

It may not seem like it, but it adds up. To be honest, I don't really care if some noob who just joined got their User Education application denied, or if Pure Ownage X just got another vouch.

I don't think many people really know about it, that's why I made it 100% clear what I was talking about in the OP.

It shouldn't be that hard, surely. I mean, the search feature has a filter, so why not the new posts feature?

 

I don't know it VB has it built in, so it would be annoying to implement.

 

I do not support this, there is no point in a filter. V-Bulletin already has one

Oh like you want to make an advanced search for the see new posts?

 

Maybe, or maybe just a little column on the side or at the bottom, where you can remove certain sections from the list of visibility.

 

Unless someone has made a mod for that or its built in it would be annoying to implement. >_>. Globally removing sections would be much easier.

You really don't understand do you? Matthew would be the one to write it if it didn't exist, and it would take enough work for such a little thing that it just won't happen.
