Help with RWT Firecape ban chances.

Hey, I'm thinking of buying the Fire Cape from a user on this forum. The account that I wanted to buy it on has recently had a short temporary ban for RWT. It's now unbanned, I just wanted to know, If I got someone to do this Fire Cape service, what are the chances of me getting banned once again, and how can I reduce this chance?


I was thinking of pretending the account got hacked by logging into a computer at the local LAN place, changing the password on there, then order the Fire Cape, go home, and when It's finished, I recover the account.

 

That's silly... Settle down, how can JaGeX tell that you've paid for it. It'll look exactly the same as if you'd done it yourself.

 

Except the fact that it was logged in from a completely ip without the password being changed, and all the person did was get a fire cape... As suspicious as it sounds the chances of getting caught are really low. If you really want to be safe, just do what you've said in your original post.

 

I've never heard of anyone being caught doing this, and I've personally had it done on two accounts a few years ago. You should be fine, and it's very unlikely you'll be banned permanently.
