VPS Connectiion Timed Out? Help please

Well when I try to access my VPS through Ultra VNC, before I can even logon, a message comes up saying "cannot access server." I also tried Putty and I couldn't even type in anything in the window that comes up after choosing my VPS' IP. After about 10 seconds it says that the connection has timed out.

What do I do? This has been going on for about 10 hours now.

edit: Problem fixed I managed to fix this by simply rebooting my VPS (via the providers website).

 

Try this on putty if you can get logged in:

vncserver kill :1
vncserver

and then try connect via Vnc viewer, remember you only need to put 1) in when your connecting to your VPS via VNC viewer and not when through Putty.

 

I can't even login. Putty won't allow me
