Finally...

I haven't done a sig in at least 2 months, I've been so stripped for time....
This is for a Callout against Draucia- I've got two versions... one with and without text- the text fucks up the depth, but I kindof felt that the signature was lacking without it.

Love the text. Lighting is not too bad either. I just don't like the fact that it looks just a bit too bare.

Yea, I think it might possibly be a little too empty... it's just I hate overdoing Signatures, so most of the time I just end up stopping before I get too ahead of myself.

 

The text fucks up the depth of the sig, removing the text would be best ..
and the entire sig is to monotone .. try improving the color,

for the rest it's pretty good, just a few improvements need to be done,

Much better .. the girl seems more real now ,, always try to keep the original colors of stocks or they will seem washed out ,

V2 is way better .. looks great good job

they're both really good but I prefer version 2 has a more realistic glow to the face I think.

EDIT: haha I see Kovan already beat me to it.

 

I'm likeing how you did the text, but the lighting in the second is to strong and the image looks to burned.

I felt the signature needed more, as it was too empty - and I originally like the idea of text in the BG, although it fucks up the depth :/ .... added a new version, what do you guys think is better?

 

its alright but the lighting is too bright perhaps either dim it down a little or make it go further out, that intense of light would go further out which makes the text look kind of odd but idk it's kind of hard to explain.

 

I semi-disagree - the light source is behind the main stock, and the lighting would not travel very far realistically due to the stock blocking it... I preferred to isolate the focal more, so although the text should be further highlighted, the main stock is the signatures focus (and brightening the text would detract from that).

 

thats quite nice, i like the depth and lighting and effects.
but its a bit of a FHS, would be nice to see more in it.
