For me, I couldnt even get on Sythe from 8 AM till 3:30 PM central time. Now, things seem to be back to normal.

Thats actually really fast. I guess it depends on how many people are accessing it atm.

 

Well I mean every time I click on a thread it takes forever to load and it hasn't ever been like that before.

 

Gohan. It has nothing to do with your connection. It is Sythe's server. Due to the amount of people browsing Sythe at one time, connection from your computer to Sythe's server is extremely slow. My suggestion is to kick all non registered people of the site. =)

 

We keep getting ddoss'ed cause we are beast like that

 

Less people viewing ads = less money from advertisements. This is a guess though and maybe I'm wrong.

Sythe is really slow for me sometimes and really fast for me other times, usually slow though, and when i tried to go on it earlier it was down. It's a free forum though so it's something you kinda just deal with =/

it was slow all day for me yesterday.. normal now..

 

I couldnt get on it at all yesterday, kept getting the 'server is busy'.

 

It's not just slow, it fails. Half the day, when I'm trying to access it, it's always either "Page not found" or "Server too busy".

Honestly. It always takes about 2 minutes to open up a thread, too. Get the server sorted, it can barely hold 250 people.

 

Happens to me ALL the time....

 

I suggested that yesterday. Pen responded a minute later with a "No way".

Nice, I don't think I've ever seen an upload faster than a download before.


The site seems to be slow at random times for me, but if it's being ddosed then I guess that makes quite a bit of sense. Large quantities of constant false traffic don't really help a server after all.
