    What is it?

    In Australia the cheapest PS3 for 160GB is like $440 AUD, which in USD is about the same.

    If you are in the market for one, there are plenty on sale here on sythe.

    I paid 350usd (with tax) for my 250gb slim.
    It was from walmart, I dont really know about other places.

    Anyway you could just buy it from the US and have it shipped to australia. Perhaps have some TRUSTED US friends buy you one with money you've sent them, then they ship it to you?
