Removing an e-mail from a RuneScape account.

I used to share an account with a guy a while back. I recently started talking to him again and although he says he's probably gonna make a new account, I'm paranoid he might try and recover it.

As E-mail is a large part of the recovery process, is there a way I can remove the current e-mail without knowing what it is?

EDIT: Also, I don't want him to know that I changed the e-mail.

 

There is no way of changing the email without alerting the current email address. Although there could be a chance that he dosnt check his emails

There is a sticky in the runescape blackmarket section on how to do this.

 

Didn't they fix this or did they replace with another method?

 

Ah, damn it. Well honestly I'm not even sure what the current e-mail is. Is there a way to guess if it's what I think it is without alerting the current e-mail?
