Player Mod Recommendation Shop

I was thinking.. Would it be a good idea to open a shop to sell recommendations for Player Moderator?

And if so what would be the ideal price?

 

Only if they actually got the position.

Hmm you'll have to prove to us in game that you're a Pmod. And that you're not going to get us banned. And that you're really recommending us.

The ideal price is maybe $15? You're just recommending us after all.

well, idk how long it takes to get mod but I think it's a good idea to use this methode yourself and then sell the accounts if possible.

It won't leak your methode and I'd pay around $50,- depending on stats etc.

If you let the buyer choose their own message for you to send Jagex the ideal price would be around $50-$100. It is a very interesting idea, but you could probably create your own prices since this service has not (to my knowledge) been introduced to the blackmarket yet. If you make your prices too steep, new sellers will pop up and ruin you.

Anyone buying should understand that a recommendation is not a 100% chance of success. You should make sure your IP address is clean of blackmarks - on any account you might own (linked to that IP). All accounts linked to your IP address should act professional in-game and on the forums. You should change your pass often and not login your account often from anywhere too far from your IP address. The account should have been created by you; Jagex can easily trace an account's history - and a thorough search of your account will be the first step before the full moderator recommendation process.

 

^^ true dat. but of course, pmods can lose their ranks easily, and if they see a lot of recomendation from one account, they will get suspicious

 

I don't see how recommending people causes you to lose your rank. If Jagex somehow saw that you were recommending sythe members for cash then yeah, but otherwise no.

 

$50 is way to much just for a recommendation.

I'd be happy to pay FOR MOD, if you could actually figure out a way to get people it. anyways i don't think jagex are that stupid.

 

I don't think Jagex looks at recommendations. I had an account that was a Pmod and whenever I recommended anyone the person would never receive Pmoderator Status. Even if it was someone who was kind and reported people cheating etc...
If anyone is curious why I don't have Pmoderator on my account anymore the reason is that someone found out its pass and I recovered it. Jagex then took away my Player Moderator Status because my account was "unsecure" lol . I'm really hoping to get it back though.

 

1$ for a recommendation with a proof pic that you did it, then 10$ if the player is accepted.
But again, no-one knows how these recomendations are accurate

 

what is recommendation? and how does this really work?

 

Bassicly a Player moderator says to Jagex They think youve got what it takes to be a player mod then jagex look to see if he/she is right

 

Sorry, but speaking from experience as an old pmod this would fail as quickly as it is started. There are several top ranked pmods that use Sythe to support their XP and although they use Sythe, they would not support this. Never recommended anyone myself, although I do know there are some that have the power to be heard when recommending. It is not as easy as this thread leads everyone to believe.
