Is This Safe!?

Hello I was trying to sell an account like 20 minutes ago and this guy says he will go first if I post on his thread saying what we trading and he sends me a link leading to this site... and my question is... Is it safe?! and it says i have to run a client

 

He sent you a phishing link it seems like. Do not put in your account information because it will get stolen. Exit out , run a computer scan just to be safe and delete it from your contacts list and If you can, get him banned.

 

No. That isn't a phishing site. That's a java drive by. If you click Run, it will download a virus onto your computer. I suggest you block that retard.

 

Ok thanks guys be aware of [email protected] he is the who sent me this I didn't run the client I hit cancel and came up with a "error click here for details"

 

Either way just run a scan to be sure and try to see if you have enough proof to get him banned.

 

Remember to take screenshots of the actual convo so if he's a Sythe member, he can be banned.

 

Didn't get his sythe name and exited convo FFS >.< Searched his name "str7dragon" alot of scam reports come up

 

Well hopefully they get dealt with, but don't go accusing him without proof because you could get infracted

 

You could always go on another msn account to trap him lol. That's what I did one time, on another forums. Got him banned.

Oh well. See? This is exactly why i'm suggesting a sticky/announcement! At least this guy was smarter than Jamie.
