I head that Gold4Rs is just a scam, is that true?
If so, can you tell me any websites like that one, but not a scamming one? :)

I've bought from them before and it was all legit apart from them getting combat on my skiller and getting me a 10 day 'powerlevelling' ban for buying gold.

They aren't legit at all. They've scammed so many people. And their phone number doesn't work, and when you try and speak to them they ignore you.

I'm amazed that Sythe still advertise them.

Honestly if you want good service, use a trusted Sythe member, with a trusted MM/OMM. It's much much faster and more secure.

Let me tell you something about the line between marketing and ethics. A site as popular as Sythe would no even think about advertising a scam site. Why? The website loses credibility and members see the corruptness between the greedy staff and the heartless corporation. While they [the owner] may get a monthly income from the agreement by the company sponsored, they lose members (now who would want to be around a site who promotes a scam site? It's basically giving everyone the image that scamming is promoted) and donations. More members = more donations (most of the time). Not to mention, with less members, Sythe is putting itself in dangers of losing business in the future. Seeing how they have lost a significant amount of members, other corporations (credible or not) would pass at the idea of sponsoring Sythe. Why? Well I'd think they would definitely consider that: there's less members, they have no ethics (it's just a game as to who pays them better), and they pretty have promoted things unmoral to the international society (scamming, greed, etc).

Pretty much: They hire an un-credible source, they lose members and business in the long run.

They used to be better than what they are now. Customer support is weak, and there is a big problem with talking to them on the phone. They speak very broken english and are almost impossible to understand.
