How to Balance a Checkbook

For you guys and gals out there growing up, you will eventually need to know how to balance your own checkbook.

I have made a template in paint showing what your checkbook will resemble (or something very close along the lines). This is how my checkbook is set up.

This is what it will look like:



Now I will tell you how to jot down any money going in or out of your bank account.

Example 1 -

Lets say you bought a World of Warcraft time card at Walmart on January 1st for $10 using your debit card.

This is how your check register should now look:



If you wrote a check instead of using your card, then you would write in the check number in the "Check Number" slot.

Example 2 -

Let's say you transferred $50 from your PayPal account from that Runescape account you sold here on Sythe. The money transferred in your account on January 1st.
