Surely you care about someone? Maybe you need time off. :) Go on a vacation.

I'd honestly have to feel you on this one.

It's our life, we can do as we please. If taking your own life is selfish and cowardly, then the fuck are we suppose to think then? That we're cowards because we think of doing so?

Hmm how about a road trip with some of your good friends? :)

You're still in college right? Do you have time to get a part time job?

    Suicide eh?

Dude, you only have like 80 years here, why end it early... And you'll never get a second chance. Think about it, are things REALLY that bad for you? Maybe you should just get off the computer for good...everybody who spends too much time on the internets gets depressed.

I have felt myself drifting towards a similar situation in the last 2 years as I spend more and more time on the computer. Specifically during the Summer, suicide was definitely something that I thought about, although I would never go through with it.
My issue with suicide is that you are leaving everything behind, and gaining nothing. The day after you commit suicide, you could have met the most incredible person of your life.
I would recommend trying out a variety of new hobbies. For me, snowboarding and trampoline are what I find really fun and relaxing.
I am considering asking to be banned from Sythe so that I don't absorb myself with it so much.
Please, Finn, I know you don't owe us anything, but if you committed suicide I know it would disturb most of the people on here, and it's just not worth giving up so much of your life that you could be enjoying when you could easily get help.

I find myself in a similar predicament. I am also uninspired, unhappy, and miserable. I am losing friends to my "attitude" and just generally losing interest in everything. I believe we are both just going through rough patches in our lives. I would hope you would not consider suicide as a way out of this bad patch in your life, as from what i have read of your posts and such, you are a very smart person, and your mind would be a terrible mind to waste. What I'm trying to say is that i know how you feel, and believe that you'll get through your rough patch, as i will also.

If he's dead, why would he have to worry about being cowardly? or selfish? He'd be dead, so no worries at all.

Finn, it seems your not alone. I feel the same way at time. With the exclusion of losing friends. I don't know why, but I try hard to actually make people like me. Have nothing for them to not like about.

There's not much I can think of for you to do other than to find new/more people to hang out with.

Just ignore him. Delete him off your friends and just go on. He's a douche bag that has to make fun of people to make himself feel better.

Hockey player, so typical. Hockey players are almost always total tools. I had a similar situation at my school, I belittled them publicly by making their insults seem insignificant, and eventually they just gave up and never came near me again. Last conversation we had:

    Guy: "Hey faggot, nice shorts."
Me: "Yeah, they're pretty gay, huh? Bargain-bin stuff."
    Guy: "Yeah... Uh..."
    <Leaves>

Once you show them that their insults have you impact, they have no interest in making giving you shit anymore.
By the way, the kids at my school thought these exchanges were funny, and I actually gained social standing from them.

What a complete tit, was he your friend at one stage, or did he just add you out of the blue and decide to verbally abuse you?
