Runescape Protocol Documentation?

My little brother is obsessed with coding his Runescape server in Java, and I am interested in trying it. I want to know is there any documentation on the Runescape server protocol and where is it? I want to implement my own server, but honestly I hate Java so I just want to do it in C. As far as I know there are 508 and 317 protocols. If there is documentation on either of those that would be great, else I can probably figure it out myself with a bit of effort.

 

Well, If you mean C# then I think it is possible but you would have to be very good to write your own base etc. As for protocol i dunno.

 

You should try going to some of the more Runescape private server based websites.

 

All these people are spammers. When I did it which was a bit more than a year ago, there were sources you can download and edit. All the gameworld was there. All you did was edit values, for example, experience rates & item locations. I mean, it's pretty complex. I am not sure about the newer servers but it probably goes the same way. Try googling around a bit. Eventually I found a site that actually teaches you to code. I forget the URL sorry, but there's some sites around that help you with coding in game codes such as ::starter & there is also lots of other information! Don't give up! Moparscape.org also has lots of downloadable content, but most of it is editable.
