So you've been scammed have ya? That's a tricky one!
Your obviously very pissed, and want to get that scammer banned.
What can you do to ensure your report is answered fast?
Don't post a thread with the title
"ban"
"SCAMMER"
"Help"
"OH MY GOD GOT SCAMMED!!!1!"
The key fact to getting it answered fast is naming a thread with the persons username.
Let's say I was scammed of a Runescape account by Jack.
I would make a title like this:
Jack|Runescape
You want to be 100% SURE that you include a username in your thread title.
You are obviously posting a thread because he is a scammer, so we don't need anything else included.
What should I include in my post?
- Screenshots
==Get the WHOLE MSN conversation! Don't leave anything out. Don't edit any part of the conversation unless it contains vital, private information.
- Video
==Videos are good! There's a less likely chance that someone will claim your Screenshots are fake, if you have a video of the conversation and deal going through.
- Time, and date.
==When did this scam happen?
- Method
==How did he scam you? Did you just give him your password first? Did he trick you into putting your PIN somewhere?
- PM's
==ALWAYS get a PM from the person, linking them to their MSN. You need to prove that the guy on MSN, is the guy on the forums. Take screenshots of any PM's you received from him.
- Thread links
==You, more than likely, talked through a thread first. Post a link to that thread.
- Key facts
==Touch on Key Facts that show how he was scamming, and any substantial proof that Moderators may not see when reviewing your case.
- Explanation!
==Explain what happened, very calm and with good grammar. This can always be very helpful in a Moderator understand your case.
