Which 'The Godfather' is the best?

The first. That's true for most movie series.

 

The first because after seeing it I had the sudden feeling I couldn't sit through another 6 hours + of mobster things and random happenings.

 

You've obviously never seen the godfather you fuckhead.

 

It felt like a long time and I was quite sure that it said a time close to 3 hours on the back of the DvD.. dickknob.
I have seen it, and although it was intriguing at times, overall there were many boring parts. Thanks. I guess it was okay but I didn't rush out and see the sequels.. point proven?

1. Do math, it is about 3 hours. 175/60 ~ 2.9

2. You said 6 + hours, which is nowhere near 3 hours.

3. I never said anything about the sequels.

4. I never said it was a good movie.

The only thing I commented on was how long you said it was. Which was obviously way way off.

 

Calm down. He was obviously exaggerating the runtime because he didn't enjoy the movie.

I liked it alot. I especially like the transformation of Michael from a legit soldier, to a ruthless mobster.
It did, however, get a little boring at parts, but it was a great movie overall.

I really like Goodfellas, how does the godfather series match up to it? must-see?

 

Goodfellas is nothing like the Godfather, Goodfellas is more violence and action, while Godfather has much more plot. Only thing really I liked about Goodfellas was Joe Pesci and the fact they say fuck every other word

on a scale of 1-10, how important is watching this movie? ya know, because everyone always has movies that they love, and rag on you when you haven't seen it. i hadn't watched star wars for a while, and people told me that i HAD to see it. watched it, and it was painful. was completely bored.

The First One The Orgininal Is Always The Best

 

I'll have to say it's a must-see, the story always keeps you sinked in and when stuff gets violent, it's pretty awesome. I'd give it an 8/10

 

It was a hard choice between the 1st and 2nd one. But I have to pick the 1st one because of Marlon Brandon, he's amazing!
