Another attempt on Jad.

I've now trained up to 55 slayer, 65 prayer and 75 ranged (was like 18 slay, 48 pray, 70 range before). I also got void (range helm, top, bottom, gloves).

What should I use? Is the following ok?

void range helm
fury
avas accumulator
void top
void bottom
dragonfire shield
snakeskin boots or ranger boots (if I can lend them (dont have enough cash to buy))
bez ring
void gloves
rune c'bow
3000 barbed bolts
500 emerald bolts (e)

What's a good number of each pot to bring? and what other items?

I've only got 75 defence and 81 hp.

 

If this is your first/second attempt, you'll most likely fail (Not a bad thing)
It's good because it gives you practice.
I personally failed twice before getting my first cape.
You should bring roughly 9 or more brews.
2 Ranging potions (4) and the rest brews (unless you want to use purple sweets)

 

In total this is like my 5th or 6th attempt. I previously tried on another account.

Also I'm comparing stats between void top/bottom and karils top/bottom and karils seems to be quite a lot better.

What would you use?

 

Should replace berserker ring with archer's ring. Void is good, because of the effects, but it completely sucks for def bonus.

 

Tip: Use the script on rsbuddy to tell you which prayer to use Helps A LOT trust me

 

Drop void for guthans and k top
Use Diamond E bolts instead of emerald

watch a few videos on the ol' youtube before you face Jad if you haven't already. That's what I did when I did got my fire cape, it took two tries.

 

Go for diamond (e) bolts if you can afford, and take sgs if you can lend one for 3 hours or so. swap berserker for archer ring, then u should be sorted, as i see people already suggested some barrows items.

 

I'd use black d hide instead of void top and bottom.
Black vambs or rfdgloves or regen
black dhide coif or arma helm or mitre
Archer ring
just rune bolts or diamond bolts all the way through

That setup has been successful more than a few times for me.

 

Dude dont use zerker, use a archer if your going to use anything. Also take like 1000 broad bolts and like 100 diamond bolts only for jad.
