So you think Runescape 2007 will gain 5-10k more players in the span of the next 3-5 years?

 

would be cool if they add claws. corp beast was coolupdate. need some updates to keep people motivated and pvp exciting.

on topic: I'm not entirely sure. It's up to the devs to keep people motivated and the game exciting. I want it grow exponentially personally. donation well was great update as well as a cashsink. 5.8bil gone.

like really...can they disable the tutorial...and why am i still getting that bug where the screen continously rotates? that is like from rs1. and it's so hard to use the arrow keys to rotate camera and the mouse at same time. wasd would be a lot better.

less clicking. more keyboard shortcuts.

 

Claws ruined pking when they came out, although 07 is getting boring, so could be a good update.

 

claws will never come through unless they lower the passing percentage because there will always be people who don't want op items in the game. A reason why the divine didn't pass through as well

 

I played runescape from 2005-2014 and by far the 2006-2010 era was my favorite. I really hope they continue to improve on it and market it more because it really is totally different game (and better in my opinion.) Idk if it is possible, but I would totally play a 2008-2010 version of runescape with the grand exchange and trade limit.

 

I believe the amount of player activity will improve over the years.

Jagex will probably move on to create a new game.

 

Hope they stop bringing out updates. Rather have a small niche community with balanced PKing than a community full of pre-eoc idiots that want bs like corporal beast with OP weapons/armour so they can earn shitloads of cash.

Well they are coming out with a new trading update kind of similar to the grand exchange soon. Maybe that'll be as close as we get to the 2008-2010 version you're looking for.

5 years will be the peak of it's player base. Will go down hill from there.

agreed, i hated how the armour looked pre-eoc. I'm cool with how it looks now and actually prefer it.

 

In 5 years I personally think oldschool will be dead, they're gonna do some horrible updates, like always.
