Sythe Firewall

Hay guys,

I have a complaint about the firewall. I have been blocked by it now 7 times. Before it was just once or twice like a month. But now it's everyday. I do not know what I am doing to get blocked or is it just attracted by my IP. So please can someone help me?

With the amount of DDoS'ers, and malicious attacks on the website, the website has to have the highest level of caution, to avoid even longer downtime.

 

Sorry to burst ANYONE'S bubble, but getting blocked for a couple months by a firewall for no reason is more of a turn-off to a site than them getting DDoS'ed and having a couple hours-days downtime.

 

I can understand that Tribal, but blocking the innocent and not the others does get really frustrating.

 

It's even more frustrating when the site is getting DdoSed. Believe me..

 

For you, obviously. You're not the one having to deal with this.

My friend also gets IP Banned on a daily basis, it's really annoying.

 

How many windows/tabs are you opening at a time? Try to limit it to 1-2.

 

what does the ddoss'ers to the site if they even got in there not much going on tbh

 

Does that have an effect on your IP getting blocked or changing?

 

No for the admins. I have owned several websites thanks. I have dealt with it and there are ways to stop it for the technologically illiterate members.
