A new method for safer trades.

Well, I just did a trade with freddy adu using the website blogTV, which allows you show a live desktop webcam video which allows the person you are trading with to see what you're doing, he can film the webcam movements with his hypercam to show proof of a real, or bad trade.

This is a lot safer and gives way better proof instead of MSN convo's.

So lets go step by step (if everything is downloaded)

1. Go to blogTV
2. Make an account, sign in.
3. Have the person you're trading with sign as a guest.
4.Turn Manycam on.
5. Put manycam on Partial Desktop mode (which makes the camera follow every movment you do)
6. Have the person you're trading with turn on hypercam on the blogTV webcam screen.
7. Do the trade.
8. If you scam, they got a video, so you lose.

That's it.

this is a good idea, what it would be hard to get people to switch to trading over webcams in my opinion

 

Or you can just use the remote desktop feature on windows or msn....

 

Seems good idea, but many people wouldn't switch :\ mite take some time.

 

You can just use Teamviewer to easily view eachother, or use Remot Assistance through Msn.

 

you have to download teamviewer don't you? which is a largious (if thats a word) file.

Teamviewer = best way and about a 14 MB file to download?

If people want to do something like this to trade, they are more than welcome, but we aren't going to enforce this or make it official.
