im making a pixel art banner for range 2her and i need some advice on doing the combat splat,its gonna a ranger in f2p pure armor 2hing a mage in robes,everytime i try and do the combat splat i fail,also i may be stacking 2 splats,any idea on how to make these?

 

You could get an actual splat picture from RuneScape, zoom in and get the outline, also try doing shading with you're pixel art.

Do shadows etc, because all you have done is filled them in with a bucket.

 

I suggest you read up on some guides, and watch some tutorials.

I could make that pic in your sig in about 5 minutes.

It looks like you're using MSPaint, I suggest you get paint.net, very useful program, you can look at it as a beginner's Photoshop.

Edit: It looks like you're saving your pictures as JPEG's, you want to avoid that. When uploading to sythe they will get that pixelated look. Save them as a .Bmp and you should be good.

The definition of "pixel art" or "pixeling" is making a picture pixel by pixel.
