Thread Locked Needlessly?

I made a thread about how much people though a p-mod, f-mod, and 1-letter name accounts were worth (money-wise). Several people responded with the prices they would pay, no flaming/spamming took place, and then it was locked without explanation... I wasn't selling any accounts or anything, just getting opinions.

I also didn't know where to post this, and this looked like the best place.
