ranging shields?

What is the best type of shield for ranging with crossbows.

 

Holy book or theres depending if your ranging certain things. Are you pvping ? killing drags?

 

unholy book is the only shield item that brings up range bonus so yeah

 

i meant like for some extra armour as well ill just be training it first lol.

Can you tell me more about this unholy book please?

 

its the zamorak book from the quest,uhm i dont remeber the quest now,its like horror form the deep i think,and it brings up all your attack bonus's,while the sara version brings up defence,and the guthix version brings upp both a little

 

For defence dragonfire sheild obby sheild or spirit sheild

 

Unholy book and guthix book (i think its called book of balance can't remember) Both give range attack bonuses, unholy gives double what guthix does though.

 

For range attack bonus---> unholy book
For range defense bonus---> obby sheild or granite sheild. Or if you can, ely, or divine shields.

 

Remember tho unholy book only gives bonus if you have all pages.

 

yh, depending on what your deefence level is.. i would use DFS.

 

unholy is if you're not tanking, but if you want def bonuses the book doesn't have any. Spirit shelid is the way to go- it has no negative bonuses and is cheap, slightly better than rune kite.
