    Darioman hacker?

Here's my story....starts off a bit off topic....
I decided today was the day to upgrade my graphics card....I've been having issues for a few months now....so I bought a 1gb card. I was initially going to buy two, so I intended to use some extra money...but instead I only bought 1. I decided that I'd use the extra money towards some games to play with the new card...and what better deal than a Steam Account. I tried eGamingSupply first, but had little luck. Only one person had an account I wanted, but they had not posted in a few weeks. Being the impatient person that I am, I decided to look for an account I could get my hands on more quickly.

I checked Sythe. Instantly, in the Steam part of the forums, I found Darioman's post regarding a 6 digit steam account with 35+ games. That hit the nail on the head for me, so I decided to check his contact info in the post. It said to use MSN to contact [email protected], which I did. I had to use eBuddy.com to log onto MSN due to some techincal difficulties.

Fortunately, he was on, or so I believe it was him......He said hello and I told him I saw his account for sale here on Sythe. He told me to make an offer. I told him that I saw a similar account (it simply had a lot of games...my idea of trying to bargain) on eGamingSupply for 30 dollars. He checked the link I gave him and told me the person was not trustworthy (which is verywell possible, due to his low iTrader score and it was his only post on the website). I said that may be true, but I have dealt with people like that in the past. He stopped talking for about 10 minutes or so....I asked him for a ballpark estimate, but he just said to offer again. So I decided to offer 40 dollars and see what he thought. He said sure, to my surprise. I set up my paypal account to trade with him. He told me to send it to "[email protected]". I thought that made sense because his Username on Sythe is "Darioman". He also told me to send the payment as either a Gift or Payment I Owe to "avoid paying the paypal money transfer fee". I thought that made sense, I didn't want to have to pay more than I had to. So I sent him the payment. He said he got it, but then asked me if it would be alright if he gave me a 7 digit Steam account instead. I said sure, as long as it has all the same games. He said it did, so I asked for a profile link, as that is what he gave me to prove to me that the 6 digit Steam account had all the games. When I asked for the link, he logged off.

I waited 10 minutes....I thought maybe it was a computer problem. I exited out of eBuddy.com MSN (a big mistake, I know) Turns out, he's claiming that somebody is trying to scam him on the sale's thread. I logged into my account, sent him a PM telling him that he didn't give me the account. He seemed clueless to what I was talking about. He said there had not been offers on it for a while. I said that I had just sent him money no more than 20 minutes to an hour ago! He said he never recieved the money on "[email protected]" I told him that was because he had specifically told me on MSN to send it to "[email protected]".

You said maybe a 7 digit that was identical to the 6 digit?

mine is [email protected] and if you sent it to this email, i didn't receive anything.

I would also like to add that prior to this PM conversation, Darioman wrote on his thread that he will no longer be making trades with people that are not on Sythe. I contacted him without giving him my Sythe name, so I believe that he is lying one way or the other with this (being that he was infact the one on MSN and did recieve the payment, just not to [email protected], but rather to [email protected])

I have sent a dispute claim to Paypal and I am hoping this issue will be resolved.
Darioman tried to turn it around and claim that I was the scammer in this situation...... I'm not sure how that's possible, as I was the one that lost money here, not him.

    *update*
[email protected] responded to my email where I asked him
"Who is this?" He replied "Do I know you?"

I will remind him that he owes me a Steam account and see if he responds....
