How to get on IRC via Mac

Okay so if you have a Mac and want to get on IRC it can be very hard considering all the guides here are for Windows and many Windows IRC's don't work. Here it goes.

Go to Colloquy.info


Then click "Downloads"


Go to "downloaded here"


This screen should pop-up


Click on "Colloquy" and this screen should pop up.


Click "Open"

Now since I have downloaded this before I may be skipping a step but a screen should come up like this


Change your nickname to whatever you want and the chatserver to irc.ghostsnet.com and check the "Remember this connection" box.


You may either type /join #ghosts or click "File" and "Join Chatroom" then in the chatroom box type in #ghosts


You should be in the most active irc in sythe. (this irc is in no way affiliated with Sythe.org)

Have fun.

Some basic commands:
/nick NEWNICKHERE (creates a new nickname for you)
/join CHANNELNAME (when in the irc.ghostsnets.com it will join the channel)
/me DOESSOMETHING (makes it say Nick hits other nick for ex.)
/message NICK (message) (starts a private chat)
/part (leaves the channel)
/quit (quits the IRC)
/ignore NICK (ignores that person)

They are absolutely awesome computers. I would recommend adding some modded parts to make gaming a little better.
