Anyone tried them before? I have just ordered them but i have to wait til Monday to pay. I have $150 to spend so if anyone has any suggestions i can cancel that order and get another 1 instead.

So what do you guys think of them if you have them? The reviews seem to be great, but I'm just wondering what you guys think before i pay.

Also, this is for MUSIC only. Well, i play CSS a bit but its mainly for music. (TRANCE/TECHNO)

Sony mdr v6, or mdr 7506. Basically the same thing but 7506 has a better warranty. I did a lot of research and ended up buying the 7506 and let me tell you they are FUCKING AMAZING. I started dling uncompressed songs and i was jizzing out of my ears.

The mdr v6 is only $75 on amazon and the 7506 is about $100. I highly recommend you read up on these, they're industry standard so the stuff you are listening to is what it actually sounds like in the studio. Plus they are comfortable on your ears and last a LONG time. There's people who still have theirs from the 80's. Headphones dont get any better than this, which explains why the original design has gone pretty much unchanged for 25 years.

I have a decently collection of headphones, and many Sennheisers.

Sennheisers in general are the most comfortable headphones I own and the sound quality is generally great.

The open ear design headphone (like the 555) leak a bit of sound, and outside noise gets in obviously. My last set of them also stopped playing sound in 1 ear after about 2 years of use from a bad connection.

Great choice if you don't pay too much... I got mine refurbed in great condition.

I have the 555s on my head right now. Great in your room, or another quiet environment for their relatively cheap price.

I think mine were closer to $100, maybe it's higher because you're in Australia.
