Bye bro! I agree with you. Sythe clearly flamed you and broke a rule on his own site. But if calling someone a retard is allowed, Sythe is the mother of all retards for picking such a shitty host. I don't see how no one realizes that the downtimes are no one's fault but Sythes for picking a TERRIBLE host. There are many other hosts that provide protection against these types of attacks. Sythe would rather make as much profit as possible and keep it for himself.

For example, the host's data center lost a router the other day, which resulted in half a day of downtime. That happens about once every 5 years. But it's my fault, because something completely out of my control went wrong?
I should just pack up the site, put it offline for half a month, find another host, reinstate the site on that host, and discover that it is as bad, or worse than the previous host? And I should do this every single time we have any sort of hosting troubles, because you suggested it.
Do you know how many times sythe.org has had to move hosts BECAUSE of ddos attacks, DMCA complaints, traffic and support issues?
We have a moderately good host now, I will look at upgrading the server when the advertising mess settles out.
This type of site has the highest incidence of scammers, attackers, hackers, and malicious persons of any genre of any site. The staff and I do our best to keep the site online and safe for our users.

I understand everyone is obligated to state their own opinions, but until you know everything about hosting a site, and what all can happen. Don't bitch about things just because at the point in time when you had logged in Sythe.org was down.
It's pretty pathetic that one would cry about such a thing, as if nothing else in this world but this site revolved around that individual (You). Honestly, apart from who knows you or anything. I am not sad to see you go, or what you would have done if you stayed. If you have those types of perspectives upon things which you clearly do. I am glad you're leaving.

I believe the individual who do agree that Sythe flamed him, need to rethink things before speaking. Stating what they think on something is not a flame. Sythe has every obligation to state that what happen his thoughts or suggestion was retarded, as it clearly was.
Just because a host crashes every once in a while, does not mean you can just come up and make the suggestion " Omg! I am so much smarter. Let's move to a FREEhost, it will be so much better. You a moron? With the attacks and everything, you would have done NOTHING but made the site """worse""" than YOU already think it is.
How about thinking things through before opening your mouth, and if you don't and you decide to state whatever it is you're thinking about suggesting anyway.. Then considering the owner of this site saying " No. ". Respect that shut the hell up, and move on.
I have spoken to Sythe alot, and have gotten to know him for the most part. He is highly intelligent and if anything I think he would know this site and about what goes on a hell of alot more than you. So, don't act like a big man just because only within yourself do you believe FREEhosting would be the ""best solution". There is more to everything than just you. Nor does everything evolve around you, especially when you're in a community ran by a individual (Sythe) which is obviously NOT you.
You previously mentioned you bought a Forum/server/hosting, and you paid $1,000? Sir, I am sorry to say. I not only agree with Sythe now. I know for a fact. You sir, are a RETARD. If you knew ANYTHING about hosting, and everything. You would not have paid as near as much for a damn site.
Then to think about it, considering the simple fact you just bought it and everything.. Why the fuck would you have paid so much and everything for a starting site? You sir, are a moron.
