    Introduction:
Sadly, Sythe.org is full of scammers. Chances are you have either been hacked or scammed once in your life. This guide will tell you how you can avoid a scam and predicting if a seller/buyer might be a potential scammer.

    ALWAYS BE AWARE OF LEACHERS.

    People Who Might Scam

Obviously the first sign of a scammer is “Trade with Caution” Be aware of these people.

Another scammer will try to rush the trade. It is advised by Sythe to use Middle Men in large trades. Scammers will say they have to go soon and they don’t have time for a Middle Man. Others might say the think Middle Men are scammers and will take they account/gold and run.

Many people cannot identify the most definite signs of a potential scammer. Many scammers are new accounts with low post count and will make free stuff threads. They will say, “I’m new to Sythe.org and I’m doing free stuff to get trust and vouches.’ You might say, “let’s help someone out’ and BOOM your account or gold is gone. Those people will then make a new account and do the scam again.

    Scams

    Account Scams

Account scams happen quiet often. There are many ways people will try to scam an account from you and change the password.

One of the most common is the “Free Training’ Service. I have seen many free training threads on which there have been replies like “FUCK THIS KID HE STOLE MY ACCOUNT”

So always be aware of people who do free training services.

If people are selling things for ridiculously low prices, BE AWARE. If someone is selling a level 100+ RuneScape account for $10 it is most likely a scam.

    Money Scams
-Many people will sell money for normal prices. Then there are the people where I is really cheap. When buying money for RuneScape try to be on your account for the transfer unless the person is highly trusted.

Just make sure the price is right and the person has enough vouches.

    Reporting a Scammer

    Just so you know.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Sythe.org homepage and click on “Report a Scammer”

    Other Tips:

-Always use a OMM for huge trades. A normal MM is ok for medium trades. Normally no middle man is need for small trades if the person is trusted.

-If the person has 1-10 vouches try to see if they are faked. Many people fake vouches.

-If you are doing gold trades, meet the person in game before you send money.
