    i would be cautious when trading this guy, gave some sad story about how he got scammed and that i have to go first.

    asked him to show me a screenshot of the account for proof he owns it, said he had to switch computers and never signed back on.

    said the account had no recoveries or never been a member, did some checking and it has both.

    you can check when you go to recover a lost password, if the account has had members before it will have the option to put in how you paid for membership etc. same with recoveries.

    if the account has never been members or had recoveries the options just aren't there.

    seems like a scam to me, why would an account that's supposedly never left tut island need membership? to be easier recovered of course.

    1. He was put on tut island the only time Jagex resetted all inactive accounts, somewhere around 2001-02.

    2. All old accounts have subscription details added to recovery page, even if they weren't members. Go check any 1-2 letter name, they all have subscription details.

    Dunno if he is scamming, but its not because of these two.

    i don't think you're right, and 'going and checking any 1-2 letter name' isn't a very accurate way of checking that because obviously most will.

    just the behavior of him when we talked makes me suspicious, especially when i asked him to show me proof of the account he told me he had to change computers and never signed back on.
