Guide: Checking if an account has Recovery Questions

Guide to check if an account has recovery questions

This is a basic guide designed to help people determine if an account you own or is purchasing has recovery questions already set.

This will help you stay away from scammers and be more cautious/safe.

    1. Go to www.runescape.com

    2. Go to Account Management under the Account Tab

    3. Scroll down to "Recover Password" under the Account Recovery sub-category

    4. Type in the name of the account you are trying to check if it has recoveries.

    5. Choose and click either of the options

    6. Scroll down to the section where it says "Your Recovery Questions"

O.k, here is where the magic begins.

If the section has questions assigned, then the account has recovery questions.

If the account does not have recoveries, then you should get something like this:

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can set your recovery questions as followed:

Because jagex lets you write your own questions.

You're allowed to write your own questions but it does not say "answer to question 1".

The reason is that it is hard to memorize what question you write....
I mean.. how skillful is the average 13-18 year old at memorizing things?

I barely remember what I ate for dinner ;P
