Report a spammer is getting out of control.

10 pages, mods please do something!

it's honestly pathetic, it gets to 10 pages or so, and 1 mod does the WHOLE thing, No offense, but you really don't do anything, from what I have seen. Along with Tgump and R33l2r3al, Pshynosis, Darthatron, blupig, Darkgroove don't do anything.

 

They can't be doing it all the time. And it's not like it's the most important thing. ;l

 

You do realize how difficult it is for moderators to do spam reports? Spam reports aren't as important as scam reports. Also, spam reports come in much more quantity, there are only so many moderators and it's difficult for them to manage such a large amount of spam reports.

They're all dealed with eventually, it just takes time. Moderators have more to do than just deal with spam reports. ^_^

 

You know why it gets out of control?

Moderators : 9
benwise90, SuF, MegaMatt, Tgump, R33l2r3al, Pshynosis, Darthatron, blupig, Darkgroove

Because every now and then, one or two of those mods goes and single-handedly do them all, then the mod gets up in the morning and see's no one else doing any and 3 pages of spam reports there.

Matthew said something about every Global having to do 10 a day but nawwww

 

Can people STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS? Its getting really annoying explaining it to people OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. We have lives. It is not our job. We volunteer our time. They will get done. Do not complain.

I moderate the 3 most inactive section pretty much... I do more than you think... You have no grounds to say how much moderators do because most of it is behinds the scenes....

 

I don't want to argue, or be disrespectful, but honestly what do you do? What are those in-active places?

Most moderators really don't care about this site, and don't log much.

 

You have no idea what we do or how much work we do, as most of it is behind the scenes. Go crawl back to your troll cave.

 

I have Scar, Programming, and RSBot all of which are pretty dead.... What do I do? Moderate them... Clean them up... Try to make them active....

 

I personally think there should be new moderators assigned exclusively to the Report a Spammer section so others don't have to waste their time on it.

 

I think that you just need to let them do their job.

Yeah they haven't done it in a while, they're only human. You can't expect them to be perfect? They have lives too, you know?

I mean, they could just leave it there and let spammers roam. We take it too much for granted. Instead of asking for more, we should recognize their hard work.

 

If we found 3 or 4 mod worthy people it would be a waste to stick them there only.

 

I don't see how a large amount of spam reports affects you in any way.

If it does then you should seek help.

Since your offline, your not doing any spam reports clearly.

I've been seeing a lot of your complaints lately, Phail Phat.

I don't believe Phail is flamming the site, or even saying it's horrible. I just think he's telling the staff where the improvements need to be made. Though he could come off with a less harsh way of complaining

 

This is misunderstood by me;

As you not only have 9 post, but you are angry more than a leecher should be.
You act as if you are using that account to post an argument in which you might think you would get banned for or possibly, you have been banned and criticizing the work of the moderators/administrators, e.g. this thread http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=620466, for the cherishment of your own.

In conclusion, what leecher, join date of May 2009, would have any idea of how much these moderators/administrators have done; unless that owner has/had a current/previous account?

I'm not accusing you, just to get that out in the open.

but then again, the users that are being placed in these positions should already expect what to look forward to, therefore, some would consider it a 'waste' whilst others would just find it a duty.

Howcome benwise does everything, when the pages of reports stack up, he does ALL of them, while are the other mods kinda slack.

Benwise should be a global soon, since he seems to do all the work on the site.
