Tired of finding a thread to see if someone replied back to your post?

Well, of course I know there is the "Subscribe/track message" option. But frankly, I get tired after having to search up threads that I post in (not necessarily mine), but also with the more-replied to, threads. Then I have to search for the thread, and search for my post, then read the rest of the posts after mine to see if anyone replied to it.

So, why not make an option that tracks who "Quick replies" or "Quotes" your post? It could put into the User CP, under Track Message, where it lists the threads that someone QR'd or Quoted you.

Your thoughts? This isn't a matter of simply laziness, but of simplicity.

 

I've seen this suggested before and denied. (Not on this site). It would however, be very nice to have this feature.

 

Thanks. Just today, I had to find my post in the "See if the thread maker is online without clicking the thread" thread, and I got pretty annoyed.

well said, i agree with this idea, i think it would improve the sythe experience. making it much easier

 

I didn't read it as the font is too small and the color is shitty for the background.

But you could just subscribe/favorite/bookmark the threads you want to keep tabs on, so they are just 1 click away.

 

Please, as a member of Sythe, I beg of you to ATLEAST make your font better. Stop making it hard to read, it just makes want people to disagree with you... *cough*

Awesome idea! I have the same problems tbh.. But is this possible with v-bulelletin? Again I'll forget i've posted here so people quote me w/e. I'll never see.

 

Make a bookmark folder specifically for Sythe. As long as you name each one clearly, this is much easier than having to go into your profile and stuff. When you're done with the thread, just delete the bookmark.

I'm not sure if it's possible for the system to recognize if you're been quoted and tell you about it. If it is, I'm sure it would require too much unnecessary work by Matthew.

 

I don't think it is possible. Since a quote is mainly part of a post, it doesn't have to be quoted by you to actually say "Originally posted by Such and Such".

I still wish this could happen, but decent suggestions never seem to get anywhere these days. Maybe they are just too difficult to implement or can't be done. idk.

 

You could always stop being lazy and just find the thread and your post and just read whatever people wrote after you. Just a suggestion ​

Also, yeah, because you know I go on Sythe to post ONE post a day, right? No no, I don't post like 10 posts a day. Of course not. >_>
