NHL Playoffs

Well I noticed there was an NBA playoffs thread, So i'm deciding to make an NHL playoff thread since the playoffs for the NHL are currently going underway.

Playoff Match ups:

NHL WESTERN:

San Jose Sharks Vs. Anaheim Ducks.

Series Lead: Anaheim 2-0

Prediction: SAN JOSE will win the series.

Detroit Red Wings Vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

Series Lead: Detroit 2-0

Prediction: Red Wings will take it.

Vancouver Canucks Vs. St. Louis Blues

Series Lead: Vancouver 3-0

Prediction: St.Louis Blues will come through and take it.

Chicago Blackhawks Vs. Calgary Flames

Series Lead: Chicago 2-0

Prediction: Chicago will take it all the way.

Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadians

Series Lead: Boston 2-0

Prediction: Montreal will come through.

Prediction: Capitals will come through.

Prediction: Hard to tell, Going With Carolina

Series Lead: Penguins 2-1

Prediction: Penguins will take it.

Mine currently are the Washington Capitals And Chicago Blackhawks.

I'd really like to see one of them win.

Agreed. When kipper gets in his zone and Jokinen and Iginla start putting up numbers then Flames are almost unbeatable.

Not to mention the flames are tough to beat at the saddledome.

 

For the end, I'm calling Penguins vrs Bluejackets. Not only are they my favorite teams, but they have played one amazing year of hockey.

 

Lol, Jackets are going to get swept by the Wings. Detroit won again today, 4-0.

I'm predicting a Wings vs Bruins final.

 

The Blue Jackets are out first round, i'll bet money.

Penguins maybe, Bluejackets, don't think so.

Smart one huh? betting now that they've lost 2. You never know though, teams can always come back.

Ya, pretty sure Detroit will take Columbus's cup chance away easily.

Wings have a good chance of being in the final, but I don't see the bruins making it to the final.

Well, I could definitely see Penguins- they've had a really good season thus far, but I doubt that the Blue Jackets will get there, they're already 2-0 and Detriot is a pretty strong team once their ahead int he series.

 

Trust me, I'd be more then willing to be from the start aswell. =p
