    The background light is too 3D seeing as the fox is more 2D. Clashes a bit. Over all its not bad.

    I agree.

    As to what you can do is try adding a drop shadow to the fox or try adding more depth to it by shading it or something. Or you can just scratch the background and make a less in depth and more 2-d one.

    Other than that, it's pretty good. (Better than I could do, haha.)

    The render is...kind of bad. Did you do the rendering?
    Try getting some c4ds. There is to much open space around the render. Get some brushes and yeah..

    6/10 keep it up!

    That's what I'm gonna do, I knew I shouldn't have put that star there. Maybe I should just go for a simple 2d background, but what?

    Just something simple with the colors you used before. Just a simple gradient or something might look okay.

    Maybe with some different colors, though.

    Edit 2:
    Also, if you had some sort of glow around the fox, it will help hide the pixelation around it.
